Our local Chapter of Philoptochos is dedicated to St. Helen who serves as our guide and intercessor. The Ladies Philoptochos serves not only our Orthodox Christian brothers and sisters, but all those who are in need within our local community and greater Long Island area. They work diligently to provide financial, medical and basic philanthropic assistance as Christ would to those sick or suffering. They are a vital part of our St. Nicholas community as all members strive for Christian service and love.
If you are interested in joining our local chapter, please contact our church office, or our local Philoptochos President, Ms. Sultana Cholakis at 631.587.1697.
